About Us

  • We provide a centre of learning in a safe, happy and loving enviroment.
  • Whatsapp groups for each class in order to remain in close contact with parent body.
  • Small classes with lots of individual attention provided.
  • Gr RRR – Gr R.
  • After school care for primary school children, Gr 1 – Gr 7.
  • Lunch is provided to all children.  Homework is supervised.
  • Holiday care at no extra cost
  • Hours of care:
  • 06h30 – 17h30
  • Educational/theatre shows during the school year.
  • An annual concert for the nursery/preschool children
  • GR R Graduation ceremony.

Our History

KID’S TOWN, formerly, Birch Acres After School Centre, has been caring for the children of Kempton Park since 1982.  Our policy is to encourage children to feel that they are part of a large and happy family, and the atmosphere is one of friendship and love.

In 1995, when we acquired 13 Sneeubal Street and KIDDIE’S KORNER came into being as a special part of Kid’s Town for children aged from 3 to 6 years of age

The centre is open all school holidays, except December, with a programme of entertainment provided each holiday.  We do encourage you to send your child during the school holidays, as this is a time when they learn to socialize with each other and experience the fun of group outings and entertainment.  Outings are optional.  Parents will be required to pay the extra cost involved.
